Quesion....

I have a question. I cut out all of my pieces for the year in advance. I wasn't thinking, I guess, and I cut everything to an exact 4 x 4 square. The thing is, I wanted to do a 4 x 4 square again this year. Can I still? Or do I need to go with a smaller size like a 3" square or a 3 1/2" square?

Also, I have posted a challenge I think some of you may be interested in on my blog. From what I've read so far in some of your posts, it can go along with what we're doing here.

Kelly - you can do any size you want! Can you put something like Lacy's Stiff Stuff or Pellon behind your fabric so that you don't have to cut out new ones? Do what works for you...

I guess you could still do a 4x4 square, although leaving some room on the outsides might make working a little easier. It is all up to you!
Have fun!

If it were me Iwouldn't hesitate to cut 12 more squares the right size. It wouldn't be that much work and I know I's fuss the whole year that I had compromised from what I really wanted to do. Just one person's opinion!!

But the same person's whose always ripping stitches out if they're not right... Like who would notice besides me!!! Gerry K.

What about machine sewing your squares onto a larger square (maybe black?) and then beading just the inner square? The outer square could be turned under so it doesn't show or could become a "frame" for the beadwork.

All good suggestions and ones I will all consider. Thank you so much! Robin, that could be a great idea for a finished project too? Hmmmm....
