July 2010
My needleweaving for July can be seen here. Loving this color combination after working with earth tones lately.

June 2010
June is finished & can be seen here. The focal stone (picture jasper) for this piece, as well as the rest of the beads (brecciated jasper, dyed mother-of-pearl), came from Fire Mountain.

May 2010
Wow, I actually finished May's needleweaving for the Bead Journal Project early. You can see the entire piece here. I'm not sure what it is, but I love this focal stone. It was one of my finds at Ritual Adornments here in Santa Fe.

April 2010
My master plan for the 2010 Bead Journal Project was to match each month's needleweaving to the seasons here in Santa Fe.April was a bit of an odd month. Winter one moment with grey skies & snow falling then the sun shining & birds singing 15 minutes later. But, in spite of the fact that winter doesn't really seem to want to let go this year, the trees are budding, the flowers are starting to bloom & the birds are building their nests.
