Beaded butterfly - 1 more down and more to do!
Five down...seven to go, right! I will finish this year's BJP but it might take me into 2012! I've finished four beaded birds and one butterfly so far. Each piece is 8 1/2" x 11". You can read more about my project and how I'll be finishing each piece.

July 2010 BJP
July's paisley is done! Check out my blog to see the finished piece. I'm slowly but surely working through these. I have started August, and have four more after that to finish. I've got my mounting all decided, and that will be a whole other project in and of itself! LOL!

WEBSITE NOTICE
Just a quick note....the designer who put together the BJP website 4 years ago needs donations to keep it going. If you're interested in keeping it up and running just click the donation button and donate what you can.
We will still have the blogs and the flickr sites...they are all free and require no donations.
It's great to see what you're all doing so far!

Continuing on with 2010...
If you would like to see my latest BJP, it is HERE on my blog. I am still only on the month of September, but I am determined to get my entire 12 BJP's for 2010 finished as I begin work on 2011's BJP. Please take a peek!
Finally finished 2010
Here is my 3" x 4" piece for December, titled "Icy Bones". I was inspired by leaves under the surface of a frozen puddle and reminded of an Andrew Wyeth quote: "I prefer winter and fall, when you can feel the bone structure in the landscape---the loneliness of it---the dead feeling of winter." Now onto 2011, I'm looking forward to everyone's beautiful work this new year!

Looking for Swapping ATCs
Hi all - in 2011 I decided for my BJP to do Artist Trading Cards. I have not found 11 other BJP 2011ers who want to swap so I'm posting this to see if any of you from 2010 want to make an ATC and swap with me. The only requirements are that it's 2.5" x 3.5" and swapped, not sold. I plan to make 12 anyway and am looking for other artists to swap with. If you are interested, please email me directly at karen@kcEnamels.com .
Have a beady great day,

All in one place - part 2
All In One Place
I have created a separate page on my blog just for the ornaments I've made for this year's BJP. If you go to my blog and look at the top of the current post you'll see a series of tabs. The right-most one is labelled 2010 Bead Journal Project. Click on the tab and that page will come up. Or you can just click here.
I still have two more ornaments to make to complete the set. I have a plan for December but June still eludes me. I know the problem stems from the fact that I had a significant birthday and I want the ornament to be "just right." Hopefully I'll get over that soon!
It was a bit of work but I'm seriously considering making another page just for the little quilts I did in the first year of the Bead Journal Project...
