July piece done with Cloisonne enamel

Hi all - I recently returned from camp where I finished my next 3 enamels for my BJP. Then I went to CA for my nephew's wedding (which was wonderful) and worked on my July BJP which I finished when I got home. This month has a Cloisonne enamel in it along with ribbon and thread embroidery. I specialize in Cloisonne so this one was dear to my heart. Hope you enjoy it. I show my next two enamels on the home page for the 2010 BJP.

Love your enamel piece on your BJP. The bird represents peace to me and the rest of the piece nature. Lise

Another lovely piece. I know you write about your technique, but what about the thoughts behind the piece? I'd be curious to know those, too, is you ever want to share.

Thank you all for your encouraging comments. I have done this dove 3 times now, all with different backgrounds. One of the pieces is called "Peace" and is a brooch on a bud vase (see #363 on page http://kcenamels.com/artwork/brooches.html). My thoughts in doing it are of peace and joy in the world and of spring bringing new life to the planet.
